With Alfie’s red belt glowing around his waist, the Black Dragon’s Foot zipped through a pipe-shaped space tunnel and landed with a comical BOING! on a planet made entirely of colourful blocks, giant green pipes, and floating gold coins that sparkled in the sky.
ZONE 7: The Mushroom Kingdom
The land of plumbers, power-ups, and seriously weird mushrooms.
As the crew stepped out of the ship, the rest of the gang came racing down the rainbow path to greet them:
- McDonalds the inflatable crocodile bounced like jelly.
- Zorgabella sang a high-pitched victory tune.
- Blip Blop rolled out with a cart full of pixel maps.
- Nutters had somehow already eaten three mystery mushrooms and was now blinking in 8-bit colours.
- Jinko tried to jump and hit a floating box—bonked his head instead.
“ALFIE!” they all shouted in joy.
“WE MISSED YOU!”
“And your karate!”
Before the hugs could finish, a warning blared across the sky in giant blocky letters:
WARNING! WARIO HAS STOLEN THE GOLDEN STAR POWER-UP!
MAYHEM IMMINENT. PLEASE STOMP CAREFULLY.
Suddenly, a kart came screeching around the corner, flames shooting from its exhaust. Behind the wheel was Wario, grinning like he’d just eaten a mushroom-flavoured cupcake.
In his clawed hand, he held the Golden Star Power-Up, pulsing with glowing energy.
“This’ll give me power over every zone!” he laughed.
“And no one—not even red-belt Alfie karate boy—can stop me!”
“Challenge accepted,” Alfie muttered.
🍄 Level One: Koopa Canyon
Wario disappeared into the canyon, and the crew followed—dodging Koopa shells, leaping over piranha plants, and riding floating platforms across rivers of soda.
Alfie used his Shizuki Ich kata to leap over a spiky shell mid-air.
McDonalds belly-flopped a Goomba so hard it bounced into space.
Nutters, now glowing from another mystery mushroom, backflipped off a pipe and accidentally launched a giant coin into the sky.
“Oops,” he grinned.
🍄 Level Two: Peach’s Puzzle Tower
To reach Wario, they had to solve a musical platform puzzle.
Charlie and Alfie played a duet on giant piano tiles, jumping in rhythm.
Zorgabella harmonised from the ceiling.
Blip Blop translated the musical code into a message:
“Next up: Kart Showdown.”
🏁 Final Level: Rainbow Road Rage
The crew jumped into their own karts.
Alfie’s was white with red flames and a punching glove mounted to the front.
Skull Fire’s had a rocket engine and spikes.
McDonalds drove… a giant banana.
The race exploded into action!
Shells flew. Bananas spun. Mushrooms bounced.
Wario laughed like a maniac—until Alfie flipped over a ramp, landed in front, and shouted:
“Time for a karate kart combo!”
He activated the glove and performed a mid-air kata:
“Shizuki San!”
WHAM!
The punch knocked Wario’s kart into a fire flower bush.
The Golden Star Power-Up flew into the air…
… and landed right in Alfie’s hand.
Everything froze.
Music sparkled in the air.
A glowing star floated above them.
🏅 ZONE 7 COMPLETE: STAR POWER UNLOCKED 🏅
As the team stood together, glowing with pride and stardust, Skull Fire placed a hand on Alfie’s shoulder.
“You led this mission with focus, power, and honour,” he said.
“You’re more than just a karate kid—you’re becoming a galactic warrior.”
McDonalds added, “And also, Wario’s breath smells like garlic socks.”
Everyone laughed.
But just then…
A dark shadow covered the Mushroom Kingdom.
The crew turned to see a huge airship made of steel, chains, and lava pipes floating above them.
From the deck, a booming voice rang out:
“I am BOWSERNATOR—King of all Koopas and Lord of the Mega Zone.
And you… are in my way.”
