Something came flying over Skillara’s sky—spinning, honking, and singing at the same time.
“HELLOOOOOOOOOO TRAINING PEOPLEEEEEE!”
💥 CRASH!
A colourful creature bounced onto the ground in front of Alfie, Chimichanga, and
Captain Skullfire.
He had springy arms, roller-skate boots, a helmet with blinking lights, and a huge grin.
“I’M MIXIE!” he shouted.
“Did I miss the mission? I always miss the mission!”
Captain Skullfire sighed… but smiled.
“Perfect timing.”
Mixie struck a pose.
“I’m loud, helpful-ish, and extremely confident for no reason!”
“I like him,” whispered Chimichanga.
Mixie immediately hugged him.
“WE ARE BEST FRIENDS NOW.”
Before anyone could stop him.
The ground split open.
Out rose the Team Trial Arena—a massive obstacle course of moving platforms, swinging ropes, spinning tiles, and glowing buttons that had to be pressed together.
Captain Skullfire stepped close to Alfie.
“This mission,” he said, “cannot be done alone. Skill also means knowing when to rely on your team.”
He handed Alfie a small glowing band for his wrist.
“You lead. I’ll guide.”
Alfie nodded.
“I’m ready.”
The trial began.
🏃 Obstacle One: The Jump Pads
Alfie moved carefully.
Step. Jump. Land.
Mixie leapt wildly.
“WHEEEE!”
Bounced off three walls.
Landed upside down.
“NAILED IT.”
Chimichanga followed bravely…
tripped…
accidentally headbutted the button.
DING! ✨
“HEY!” said Mixie.
“That was the right one!”
Captain Skullfire called out calmly.
“Good accident. Keep going.”
🧠 Obstacle Two: The Puzzle Floor
Only the correct tiles stayed solid.
Alfie studied the pattern.
“Blue… red… red… blue…”
Chimichanga tried to help by pointing with his tail.
He pointed at everything.
Mixie shouted, “TRY ALL OF THEM!”
“No,” said Alfie gently. “Together.”
They stepped at the same time.
The floor held.
🎯 Final Obstacle: The Team Lever
Three levers.
Pulled at once.
Mixie counted loudly:
“UNO! DOS! BANANAAAA!”
They pulled.
The arena froze.
Then—
🎉 SUCCESS! 🎉
Confetti rained from the sky.
The course powered down.
Captain Skullfire walked forward, proud.
“You used focus,” he said to Alfie.
“You trusted your team.”
“And you adapted.”
Mixie wiped fake tears from his eyes.
“I have never been so helpful in my entire life.”
Chimichanga saluted… and fell over.
“I helped by falling,” he said.
Captain Skullfire nodded seriously.
“Very advanced technique.”
The planet Skillara glowed brighter than ever.
But then…
A new portal opened—dark blue, humming, unknown.
Captain Skullfire looked at it carefully.
“Training continues,” he said.
“But the next place will test more than skill.”
Alfie felt excited again.
Mixie bounced.
“ADVENTURE TIME?”
Chimichanga grinned.
“Sidekick ready. Probably.”
And Alfie stepped forward.
Because the team was growing.
