Before anyone could answer, the ground locked their feet in place.

“Oh no,” said Chimichanga.
“I was about to move heroically.”
Mixie tried to run.
Nothing happened.
“I AM STUCK BUT STILL CONFIDENT!” he shouted.
A calm voice echoed across the planet.
“This world tests patience,” said
Captain Skullfire, stepping closer to Alfie.
“You cannot rush here. You must wait… watch… and stay calm.”
Mixie gasped.
“WAITING?! I’M TERRIBLE AT THAT.”
Suddenly, a giant timer appeared in the sky.
⏳ PLEASE WAIT: UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF TIME ⏳
Nothing happened.
No music.
No buttons.
No action.
Just… waiting.
Chimichanga whispered,
“I don’t like this bit.”
Alfie took a slow breath.
He didn’t wiggle.
He didn’t complain.
Captain Skullfire nodded approvingly.
Then—
💨 PFFFFFFRRRRRP! 💨
A loud fart noise echoed across the planet.
Everyone froze.
Mixie’s eyes went wide.
“…uh oh.”
The ground unlocked under his feet.
He floated slightly into the air.
“I THINK,” Mixie said proudly,
“I HAVE A SPECIAL SKILL.”

A gentle green cloud puffed out…
and the timer jumped forward.

Captain Skullfire raised an eyebrow.
“Interesting,” he said calmly.
“Mixie’s… gas… alters time.”
Mixie beamed.
“I CALL IT—THE PATIENCE POOF!”
Chimichanga clapped.
Then fell over.
“But!” warned Captain Skullfire, “this world will punish rushing.”
Mixie immediately tried again.

The cloud shot sideways.
The ground turned into jelly.
Alfie wobbled but stayed still.
“Slow,” Alfie said gently.
“Not too many.”
Mixie gulped.
“Okay… controlled farting.”
They waited.
Five quiet seconds.
Then—
💨 tiny poot 💨
Perfect.
The timer vanished.
The ground released them all.
The planet glowed warmly.
“You passed,” said Captain Skullfire.
“Because you stayed calm… and used teamwork.”
Mixie wiped his brow.
“I have never been so mature.”
Chimichanga saluted.
“Proud of you, gas hero.”
But just as they relaxed—
A much bigger planet appeared ahead.
Dark.
Busy.
Full of noise and movement.
Captain Skullfire looked serious… and excited.
“Patience was lesson one,” he said.
“What comes next will test everything at once.”
Alfie felt it in his chest.
The adventure was getting bigger.
And louder.
And smellier.
