The Icy Cake Moon Conspiracy

The Black Dragon’s Foot cruised through deep space, frosting still frozen to its hull from the custard quake at Fluffernog. Inside, the crew gathered around the Time Truffle, which now floated inside a tiny anti-melt chamber on the dashboard.

“We’ve got the orb, we’ve got the truffle,” Captain Skull Fire said, arms folded across his chest. “Now we just need the final ingredient: the Frosted Key of Nibblon.”

Zorgabella gasped. “That key is hidden deep beneath the Icy Cake Moon, isn’t it?”

“The very same,” nodded Jinko Starflap, adjusting his shimmer-goggles. “Buried beneath layers of frozen sponge, guarded by the Crumb Watchers of Sugar Sector 7.”

Nutters McGee spat out a gumdrop. “Those guys give me the marshmallow shivers.”

Skull Fire grinned. “Well then, crew… TO THE CAKE MOON!”

They landed on the Icy Cake Moon with a thump and a frosting splatter.

It was beautiful. Sparkling snow-frost, mountainous whipped cream peaks, and jellybean caves twinkled under a cotton candy sky. The ground made a squishy squeeeerp with every step.

Blip Blop scanned the terrain. “The key should be… approximately 77 frosting layers below the surface.”

“We dig,” Skull Fire declared.

But just as the crew fired up their drill-spoons, the ground rumbled.

BOOM-BOOM-BOOM…

From beneath the jellybean caves emerged giant creatures made of burnt crumbs and sprinkled armor—The Crumb Watchers.

“INTRUUUUUUDERS,” they growled in chorus, marching forward like angry gingerbread tanks.

“We’ll hold them off!” shouted Jinko, drawing his pudding board like a sword.

Skull Fire gave him a look. “That’s a surfboard, Jinko.”

“It's symbolic!” Jinko yelled, diving into the fray.

The crew scattered—Nutters flung frosting bombs, Zorgabella sang a high note that cracked three of the Crumb Watchers’ helmets, and Skull Fire spin-kicked through a flurry of stale sprinkles.

Blip Blop shouted from below. “Captain! I found the Frosted Key!”

They had it. Victory! Almost…

Then came the twist.

As the crew raced back toward the ship, dodging cookie craters and caramel traps, a final CRUMB WATCHER burst through the icing ground and slammed into Jinko Starflap.

BOOM!

Both disappeared into a crevasse of crumbling cake.

“JINKO!” Skull Fire cried, skidding to the edge.

All he could see below was darkness, whipped fog, and one lonely feather, glowing faintly with cosmic stardust.

“NOOO!” Nutters yelled, sniffling.

Zorgabella’s voice trembled. “He’s gone… lost in the cake.”

Skull Fire’s jaw tightened.

“No. He’s not gone. He’s just… misplaced. And we’re going to find him.”

He turned to the crew, holding up the Frosted Key.

“This isn’t over. Whatever’s down there wants us to stop. But Jinko’s part of this family. And pirates… never leave crew behind.

Back aboard the Black Dragon’s Foot, the crew stared silently at the blinking star-map.

The orb had started glowing again—this time showing a new symbol: a cave, a feather… and a message scrawled in cosmic sugar:

“He’s waiting.”
