Read with laughter in your voice… and be ready to pause because giggles may interrupt.
The Magic Christmas Whistle floated in the air, cracked and glowing like it had eaten too much pan dulce.
Everyone stood very still.
Even the llamas froze mid-conga, one leg up, looking extremely surprised.
Alfie took a deep breath.
“Okay,” he said. “Nobody panic. We’re going to fix this together.”
Chimichanga shuffled closer and saluted.
“Sidekick reporting for duty!”
He immediately tripped over his own tail.
“Still reporting!”
“Teamwork!” shouted Santa.
“¡En equipo!” added Messi.
The penguin referee squinted at the whistle.
“Which team am I on?”
Everyone replied together:
“THIS ONE!”
“Perfect,” said the penguin. “I think.”
They all placed one hand, paw, wing, flipper, hoof—or tail—on the whistle.
Alfie counted:
“Uno… dos… TRES!”
They focused really hard.
The whistle began to glow brighter…
and brighter…
and then—
🎺 PFFFFRRRRP! 🎺
The loudest, silliest fart noise echoed across the Argentina North Pole.
Silence.
Then—
The penguin burst out laughing.
“I knew it was that kind of whistle!”
Snow turned into glittery bubbles.
The crack sealed itself.
The whistle sparkled like new.
“¡Funciona!” cheered everyone.
Chimichanga gasped.
“We did it! Best team ever!”
He struck a heroic pose… which accidentally pressed the whistle again.
🎺 TOOT! 🎺
Instantly:
- Santa’s beard curled into a candy cane
- The llamas conga-lined through the air
- The penguin referee declared, “GOAL!” and hugged a snowman
- Pan dulce rained from the sky like confetti 🍞✨
Alfie laughed so hard he had to sit down.
Santa wiped happy tears from his eyes.
“That,” he said, “is officially the funniest Christmas ending ever.”
Chimichanga climbed onto Alfie’s shoulder.
“So… sidekick forever?”
“Forever,” said Alfie.
The Argentina North Pole glowed warmly.
Christmas was saved.
But not too sensible.
As the snow settled, Dad noticed something…
Another present had appeared.
This one had a tag that read:
🎁 “FOR ALFIE — DO NOT OPEN YET” 🎁
The box wiggled.
Just a tiny bit.
Alfie smiled.
Because some adventures don’t end…
They just wait until tomorrow night.
