The Black Dragon’s Foot soared toward the glittering atmosphere of Galactic Adventure Park Alpha—the largest, weirdest, most incredible theme park the universe had ever known.
Rides stretched across entire moons. Roller coasters spun between planets. Fireworks exploded in the shape of tacos and dragons and inflatable crocodiles.
And right at the heart of it all…
Was a mystery no one could explain.
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves.
Captain Skull Fire stood on the deck, gazing through his space telescope.
“Look at those zones,” he muttered. “Hogwarts floating beside a Sonic racetrack? A dinosaur jungle inside a volcano? This place is pure imagination.”
Blip Blop clicked. “Sensors indicate every zone is real. And each one contains… a competition.”
“What do we win?” asked Nutters, bouncing excitedly.
Blip Blop’s screen blinked:
🏆 One Wish.
For whoever completes all ten zones.
Elara raised an eyebrow. “A wish that can do anything?”
Captain Skull Fire clenched his jaw. “Or fall into the wrong hands…”
A hologram flickered to life in front of them—fireworks and jazz hands included.
🎡 “WELCOME TEAMS!”
boomed a cheerful voice.
“LET THE GALACTIC ADVENTURE GAMES… BEGIN!”
🌀 ZONE 1: SONIC SPEEDWORLD
The crew burst out of their ship and onto a glowing blue racetrack surrounded by loop-de-loops, turbo panels, and giant floating golden rings.
“We have to outrun the robotic racers to earn the first badge,” said Jinko, strapping on his speed boots.
“Leave this to me!” yelled Nutters, already halfway down the track in banana shoes.
Sonic the Hedgehog himself appeared in a blur. “Hope you’re fast! The bots don’t play fair!”
Suddenly—ZWOOP!—the racetrack cracked open with a portal of swirling gold and purple light.
A figure fell from the sky…
BOOF!
And landed on the track in front of them with a pizza box in one hand and a half-eaten biscuit in the other.
He sat up slowly.
Wide-eyed. Wild-haired. And wearing a T-shirt that said:
“99% Wizard, 1% Hungry.”
Captain Skull Fire rushed over. “Who in the stars are you?!”
The boy blinked, looked at his biscuit, then looked at the crew.
“Uh… I’m Alfie,” he said, brushing crumbs off his shirt. “I was just playing a Harry Potter video game and then—boom—my bed turned into a time-portal trampoline.”
Blip Blop scanned him. “He’s… from Earth.”
Zorgabella sang a high note of surprise. “He carries magic… and mystery.”
McDonalds the inflatable crocodile bounced over and handed him a helmet.
“You’re one of us now, mate.”
Alfie stood up, eyes wide at the glowing racetrack, the robotic hedgehogs zooming past, and the talking crocodile pirate.
“…This is AWESOME.”
But just then, high above the track, a shadow moved.
The GameMaster, watching from his secret tower, leaned forward.
“So… the boy has arrived,” he whispered.
He pressed a button on his gauntlet.
Far below, the robotic racers’ eyes turned red.
The racetrack started to glitch.
The first trap had been triggered.
“EVERYONE RUN!” Skull Fire shouted.
Lasers. Loops. Falling road tiles.
This wasn’t a race anymore.
It was a battle for the badge.
And for Alfie…
The adventure of a lifetime had just begun.
TO BE CONTINUED…
In Chapter Two: The Glitched Loops of Speedworld,
Can Alfie find his powers?
Will the crew survive the trap-filled track?
And what exactly did McDonalds put in that smoothie?
Buckle up, dreamer.
