The Space Pirate Crew

With the Black Dragon’s Foot safely back in his control, Captain Skull Fire leaned back in his squeaky pirate captain’s chair and munched a victory snack: freeze-dried banana chips dipped in stardust syrup.

Blip Blop beeped happily from the control panel. “Coordinates locked, Captain. Setting course for… Donut Planet!”

Skull Fire’s eyes lit up behind his skull helmet. “Ah yes… the sugary swirl of the Glazed Nebula! I heard tales of a secret treasure hidden inside a donut planet shaped like an actual… DONUT!”

Nutters McGee’s whiskers twitched. “Does this donut have… sprinkles?”

Zorgabella hummed dramatically. “Legend says it’s guarded by the Sprinkle Serpent. And it’s made of cinnamon clouds and jellycore magma.”

Skull Fire stood and pointed his cutlass at the stars. “Crew! Set a course for the tastiest treasure in the galaxy!”

🚀 WHOOSH! 🚀

As they soared toward the Glazed Nebula, the crew passed glowing muffin meteors and syrup storms. The stars smelled faintly of powdered sugar.

Then they saw it: a spinning planet with a giant HOLE in the middle, dripping with frosting rivers and surrounded by floating sprinkle moons.

But… something wasn’t right.

“Captain…” Blip Blop’s voice buzzed nervously. “There’s a signal coming from inside the donut planet. It’s a distress call!”

Nutters’ tail fluffed up. “It’s a trap, isn’t it? It’s always a trap.”

“Or…” said Skull Fire, “it’s a chance for more adventure!”

They landed the ship on a jelly-glazed plateau and disembarked carefully. The ground squelched under their boots. As they walked toward the signal, marshmallow geysers puffed into the air and cotton candy fog rolled in.

Suddenly—ROOOOOAAAAR!

Out of the center hole of the donut planet slithered the Sprinkle Serpent—a glittery, sugar-coated space dragon with licorice fangs and donut crumbs stuck to its chin.

“You dare enter my domain?” it hissed. “Only those who pass the Trial of Sweetness may take the treasure!”

Zorgabella stepped forward, eyes blazing. “Then we shall sing the sweetest opera ever heard!”

She let out a melody so beautiful, birds three galaxies away started laying candy eggs. Even the Sprinkle Serpent started to tear up a little.

“That… was lovely,” it sniffled. “Fine. You may attempt the final challenge: the Great Jelly Jump!”

“What’s that?” asked Nutters, now chewing a gumdrop.

“You must leap,” the serpent said dramatically, “into the jelly core of the donut planet—and return with the golden sprinkle orb before your boots melt!”

Skull Fire cracked his knuckles. “That’s pirate business, alright!”

And with that—he jumped.

Through cinnamon clouds and syrup slides, Skull Fire rocketed toward the molten jelly center.

It was hot. It was gooey. It smelled delicious. And right in the middle, floating above a lava cookie… was the Golden Sprinkle Orb.

He reached for it—then…

CRRRRRACK!

The lava cookie crumbled beneath him!
